Remodelling and refurbishment of the children, adult and reference library areas, customer services, and tourist information areas. The design concept modernises these areas giving them a public sector feel. The remit also includes the redesign of the Ceremony suite, and the design honours the Georgian architecture of the old part of the building with carefully selected period colours and retaining and refurbishing original features where possible. The project is currently out to Tender.
